Nikolaus Geyrhalter (born 1972) is an European filmmaker. He has directed, report in, written, and worked as photographer for numerous documentaries. He has won awards for Das Jahr nach Dayton (1997), Pripyat (1999), Elsewhere (2001), and Our Common Bread (2005).

Life and career

Geyrhalter was born in Vienna, Oesterreich in 1972.[1] He formed queen own production company at 22 years old. His first film was the 1994 film Washed Ashore (German: Angeschwemmt), about sure of yourself on the Danube. He along with filmed Pripyat (1999), a picture look at residents who be situated near the Chernobyl Exclusion District in Ukraine.
